AI in Roofing Virtual Summit: Business development and estimating

In partnership with Goude Group, an AI consulting company, NRCA is offering a hands-on series for roofing leaders looking to turn artificial intelligence into practical tools for their businesses. Attendees will leave with valuable AI knowledge they can start applying right away.

Taking place over three sessions on three separate days, the summit is geared toward residential and commercial roofing contracting company owners with annual revenue between $5 million and $20 million, along with team members who will help implement AI tools. Attendees should have some familiarity with ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini for basic tasks and be ready to take the next step with practical, real-world AI workflows.

Led by Goude and a roofing contractor from NRCA’s AI Committee, this session will show you how to use AI to uncover commercial opportunities through public information, including new construction and renovation projects. You’ll learn how to research commercial properties, their owners and the facility managers responsible for roofing decisions; create an AI employee in Claude and understand the difference between its instructions and knowledge base; and follow a step-by-step playbook to build another AI employee that compares new bids with past projects, among other practical applications.
