The warranty offering provides contractors with added confidence that their equipment is backed by support designed to protect against material and manufacturing defects that may occur despite proper use, maintenance, and storage. According to Leister, the warranty applies to new devices for up to five years from the original purchase date when the product is registered online within 30 days of purchase. Without registration, customers receive a standard 12-month warranty. 

Under the program, Leister may repair affected devices or replace them with an equivalent or updated model at its discretion. The company notes that warranty claims must be submitted through the authorized sales outlet where the equipment was purchased and require proof of purchase, serial numbers, and maintenance documentation if requested. 

The company also emphasizes the importance of routine maintenance to ensure long-term performance and warranty eligibility. Recommended maintenance includes inspecting electrical connections, cleaning filters and air inlets, checking heating and cooling performance and replacing wear parts such as seals, filters and carbon brushes when needed. Maintenance requiring the device to be opened must be performed by an authorized service center. 

Leister’s warranty excludes heating elements, normal wear parts, damage caused by improper use, unauthorized modifications, and issues resulting from neglected maintenance or external damage. The company states that proper operation and adherence to maintenance guidelines are essential for preserving warranty coverage and maximizing equipment lifespan.
