This strategic enhancement provides architects, fabricators and contractors with greater design flexibility and structural performance for demanding applications.

The expanded thickness range addresses increasing market demand for heavier-gauge, prefinished metal materials that combine durability and aesthetic versatility. By offering prepainted flat sheet and coil in gauges up to .118-inch thickness, ATAS enables customers to achieve enhanced impact resistance, improved load capacity and long-term performance, while maintaining the benefits of factory-applied finishes. These finishes result in consistent, high-quality coatings, which ensure color retention, durability and corrosion resistance.

The expanded product line includes a total of eight aluminum thicknesses, starting at .032 all the way up to .118. The addition of .080, .090, .100 and .118-inch thick prepainted aluminum supports the growing use of metal in high-performance building envelopes, where strength, longevity and sustainability are critical. Thicker prepainted material options also allow for greater customization in formed profiles, brake shapes and specialty architectural components.
