“We've been talking a lot about our Imper-Sol coating lines,” says Joel. “We're selling a lot of it, got a lot of happy contractors, and issuing a lot of warranties, and it's been a win-win-win for everybody.”
Earlier this year, Bitec expanded their Imper-Sol™ coating line with three different products — an acrylic, a silicone and a SEBS line. Additionally, they unveiled their Elastopav™ flashing compound and sealant line. The new full line of restoration products has been a hit with the contractor community.
“It’s a one-part moisture-cured flashing compound and sealant,” says Joel. “It's something we rolled out and had an order for the first day we rolled it out. It was incredible. It's just kind of continued. It's one of those, ‘Can I keep it in stock, and can we keep moving it?’ So, it's exciting.”
Despite the pandemic and the supply chain challenges that come with it, Bitec has been thriving. With contractors getting creative to meet growing demands with fewer materials, the availability of modified bitumen has been key to keeping projects on track. “Our products are ready to go,” says Joel. “If you call one of our sales reps, we can get it to you... no material shortages here.”
