At the International Roofing Expo (IRE) in Las Vegas, leaders from Roof Saver shared how relationships, product performance and strategic innovation are helping the company navigate a roofing market shaped by consolidation and cautious optimism. Speaking on The Coffee Shops™ sound stage, Greg Wilkerson and Eric Pearman described the company as a materials manufacturer devoted to innovation and sustainability. While the company is widely known for its work in air filtration, Greg explained that roofing ventilation has also been a core part of its business for more than two decades.
That connection reflects the company’s broader focus on clean air and environmental control. Attic ventilation, Greg noted, plays a crucial role in regulating temperature and managing moisture within the roofing system and the home itself. “We want to make it easier for people to breathe in their homes,” he said.
At IRE, the company’s priority was supporting the Roof Saver brand while strengthening relationships with private-label and white-label partners. Greg said the event serves as an important opportunity not only to meet with contractors and distributors but also to observe new ideas emerging across the show floor. He noted, “I would say to you that the other thing that's been of value to us is as we walk around to see the different uses of materials and the different approaches they're using and it gives us other ideas for other materials that we could provide.”
Those conversations with contractors tend to center on practical considerations. According to Greg, visitors frequently ask about product specifications, pricing and where the product is available. He explained that because Roof Saver is not tied to a specific shingle manufacturer’s program, the company must remain highly competitive through product performance, warranty strength and reliable distribution partnerships. “Our product is extremely competitive in the marketplace, and we have a great alignment with some of our key distributors to bring the product to market at a very aggressive price that makes it relevant,” he shared.
Sustainability is another aspect that continues to resonate with contractors and homeowners. Eric noted that the company’s ridge vent is a natural product, an attribute that aligns with growing interest in environmentally conscious building materials. He elaborated, “I would say one of the other advantages for us or the value we see with the ridge vent is that it's a natural product and thereby it's sustainable and then when you have to take it off it's you know it can just easily be disposed of.”
Looking ahead, the company is expanding its focus beyond ventilation as it develops additional materials for the broader building envelope. Eric said the company’s manufacturing capabilities allow the team to adapt products for different construction needs, including sound control and moisture management.
