Five Companies Become New Members of MCA

The MCA works to increase the use of metal materials in construction by educating the building and design communities about the benefits of metal.

The Metal Construction Association (MCA) is proud to announce five companies have become new members of the association. Edco Products, Exterior Systems (a division of F.L. Crane & Sons), Kloeckner Metals, Sheet Metal Supply Ltd. and William Molnar Roofing have joined the association's 92 member companies, all of which serve the metal construction industry.

Based in Hopkins, Minnesota, Edco Products is one of the largest manufacturers of residential steel roofs and siding in the U.S. It is also one of the oldest and longest-running steel/metals companies in this country.

With headquarters in Fulton, Mississippi, Exterior Systems is a division of F.L. Crane & Sons providing a one source solution for building exteriors including exterior metal panel systems, complete with framing, sheathing, vapor barriers, and the exterior panel systems.

"We are very excited about being a MCA member. We are looking forward to working with other suppliers, manufacturers, and fabricators. The relationships we can form and the technical support provided are invaluable to us as installers and fabricators," said Chad Martin, the company's division president.

Headquartered in Roswell, Georgia, Kloeckner Metals services more than 8,000 metalworking businesses throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada. The company ships carbon and nonferrous metals from inventories stocked in over 50 locations throughout North America using the latest processing methods.

"Participation (in MCA) allows us to keep pace with customer need trends and help Kloeckner match or develop specific solutions to defined requirements in select business niches," says John Dobek, Kloeckner's vice president commercial - stainless and aluminum.

Headquartered in Mundelein, Illinois and founded in 1991, Sheet Metal Supply Ltd. supplies the roofing industry with consistent sheet metal profiles fabricated from quality materials. The company's work force holds over 50 years of combined experience in metal fabrication and an additional 20 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry.

Established in 1980 in Riverview, Michigan, William Molnar Roofing Company, Inc. began as a commercial / industrial roofing company, mainly specializing in built-up roofing. Since then, the company has expanded its expertise to include roofing systems such as: modified bitumen, EPDM, TPO, PVC, vegetative, shingles, and sheet metal, in both new and retrofit installations.

MCA member companies benefit from participation in association activities and connections made between suppliers and industry leaders in the areas of research, codes and standards, market development, and technical programs. The association works to increase the use of metal materials in construction by educating the building and design communities about the benefits of metal.
