OSHA training, lead certification and asbestos training are offered in addition to a free three-hour course that covers the Florida building code and the laws surrounding wind mitigation.

FREE 3-hour course: Advanced Florida Building Code 6th Edition (2017) (2 hours ADV): This course will focus on the Florida specific roofing codes which will include information on FEBC Chapter 7 Existing Building, FRC Chapter 9 Residential, and Chapter 15 Building. Wind Mitigation Methods, the Law! (1-hour WMM): This course is designed to comply with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s (DBPR) requirements for wind mitigation methodologies. Materials reviewed will include wind zone areas, insured and/or ad valorem taxation criteria requiring compliance, reroofing, water barriers, gable end enhancements, wall connections, fasteners and braces, and retrofitting.
