Foundation Software Announces New Integration between FOUNDATION® and Estimating Edge’s Suite of Products

FOUNDATION's clients can now sync their accounting with The EDGE Estimator as they build their estimates, making the whole process much more efficient.

Foundation Software announced today that FOUNDATION® — America’s #1 construction accounting software — now fully integrates with Estimating Edge’s platform of estimating and takeoff products. Foundation Software acquired Estimating Edge earlier in the year with the goal to provide contractors an even more complete solution for their field and office needs.

Clients can sync their FOUNDATION accounting with The EDGE® Estimator or TakeoffHQ and as they build their estimate, every line item is assigned a cost code and a cost class which aligns to the codes and classes from FOUNDATION. Then, when the estimate is complete and the job is awarded, the project information and budget are synced to FOUNDATION, eliminating the need for manual entry.

Adam Oaks, president of Estimating Edge, thinks specialty trade contractors will benefit from this new integration.
