The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) has adapted its Qualified Trainer conferences to take place virtually via the Zoom platform. Classes are limited to 10 participants to ensure a positive, interactive experience. Student are shipped class handouts and a table-top mockup to use during the training.
Qualified Trainers are reporting that their trainees are energized, excited and are coming back for more. Jared Ribble recently spoke with NRCA Qualified Trainer Raymundo Jimenez of DC Taylor Co about what happens following a great training session. “What normally happens is you will have excited people who want to learn more,” shared Raymundo. “Those are the people who will be the future trainers.”
According to NRCA, the trainings are meant to “help new trainers gain a strong foundation in critical training skills and seasoned participants learn best practices for delivering powerful workforce improvement presentations and effective hands-on training.”
The training educates attendees on how ProCertification works and what NRCA’s goals, policies and procedures are for installers to receive their certification. During the virtual training, you will gain access to NRCA’s training resources that will better equip you to onboard and train new employees as well as existing team members.
According to NRCA, “The virtual conference is recommended for those who would like to onboard new employees as effectively as possible; increase worker retention rates; maximize workforce efficiency; and engage, coach and make a difference in their companies.”
Upcoming dates:
