H.B. Fuller LIVE at IRE 2024!

At the 2024 International Roofing Expo (IRE) in Las Vegas, Lauren White from RoofersCoffeeShop® caught up with Norbert Lash, an account manager from H.B. Fuller, a company renowned for its adhesive and sealant solutions tailored for the construction industry.  

“We are an adhesive and sealant company providing adhesive and sealant to the construction industry, mainly the roofing industry," says Norbet. 

The focus at the H.B. Fuller booth this year is quite innovative. The emphasis on sprayable technologies and their ease of roofing applications demonstrates H.B. Fuller's commitment to advancing roofing installation methods. Norbert explains, "We highlight all the different adhesives and sealants that we manufacture for the roofing industry focusing on urethanes and bonding adhesives. This year there's been a big push and we're talking a lot about sprayable technologies, pressurized canisters, things where we would use special air-assisted nozzles and valves and mixing tips to help with the application."  

Attendees have shown great enthusiasm for H.B. Fuller's innovative solutions that align with industry standards and regulations.. Norbert shared, "Attendees are excited about what we have to offer. It's a technology that changes not weekly but monthly, yearly. There's a lot of regulations in the industry, and some of the things that we're able to do fall within the regulations and the changes in the codes and requirements."  

Norbert also talked about GSSI Sealants, a part of the H.B. Fuller family, which caters to contractors in the metal roofing industry. He shared, "They make high-performance tapes for the metal roofing industry. We acquired them a couple of years ago. Tthey're down in Texas, and they're a super quality product." 

Norbert's insights at IRE 2024 highlight the innovative strides made by H.B. Fuller and GSSI Sealants in roofing adhesives and sealants to address industry demands.
