During most of August, Congress is in recess and lawmakers are traveling in their states and districts. Now is the perfect time to contact them in support of H.R. 7239, the Essential Workers for Economic Advancement Act. 

This legislation would help address workforce shortages by establishing an innovative, market-driven visa system to allow individuals from abroad to fill job openings that cannot otherwise be filled in year-round, nonfarm positions. H.R. 7239 is a vital long-term solution to the roofing industry’s workforce needs.
