A project of scale, precision and sweat equity is unfolding in the desert heat. The Fina La Quinta Hotel in Phoenix is the latest commercial benchmark for Spray Foam Arizona, a family-driven contractor and SPFA member that’s gone from rebuilding feed mills to insulating massive hospitality developments. 

The project covers more than 122,000 square feet of insulation work, including 18,010 square feet of foam roofing, 59,000 square feet of ceiling deck spray foam and 45,000 square feet of batt insulation. It’s one of the company’s largest enclosures to date — a bold move for a contractor rooted in residential and agricultural construction.

General Coatings and UPC 500 MAX provided the materials, with applications handled via GH2 and PMC PH2 rigs — and over 250 feet of hose. 

The stakes were high: A hotel’s energy performance depends heavily on insulation integrity. The crew navigated four levels of ceiling deck foam and intricate architectural constraints, all while maintaining a safety-first philosophy that’s become a company hallmark.
