How To Create Watertight Repair Seals on Single-Ply Roofs

This video playlist will walk you through how to repair and seal seams, cuts and punctures on single-ply roofing systems.

“Welded seams or field damage account for the larger portion of leaks on single-ply roofs, so it is extremely important to properly seal and reinforce these locations in the proper manner,” says John.

• EPDM Seam Repair. In this video, John completes an EPDM-SI-1 roof detail, showing us in five steps how to do an EPDM seam repair in a way that ensures top-quality performance. 

• EPDM Cut & Puncture Repair. This EPDM SI-2 detail demonstration shows us how to create a watertight repair on a puncture on an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane. 

• Seam Repair. John installs a single-ply detail TPO SI- 1 using Roof X Tender 981 Roof Patch.  

• Cut and Puncture Repair. John shows us how to use Roof X Tender 981 roof Patch to repair a field puncture in a TPO SI-2 detail.
