This recognition celebrates Draper’s exceptional restoration of the iconic Life Church in Oklahoma City, a project that underscores their dedication to excellence, innovation and quality in the roofing industry. 

The SPFA National Industry Excellence Awards are highly anticipated in the roofing community, recognizing the most innovative and high-quality projects undertaken by SPFA member contractors. With an impressive 60-100 entries annually, these awards celebrate projects that exemplify exceptional craftsmanship, uniqueness, speed of application, problem-solving capabilities and adherence to safety standards. The awards encompass several categories, with elastomeric roof coatings being a significant addition since 2018. 

Draper Construction’s success in the elastomeric roof coatings category is a testament to their technical expertise and innovative approach to roofing. The restoration of Life Church covered 84,048 square feet in just 17 days, with a 9-person crew, demonstrating remarkable efficiency and skill. Using Everest Systems, the team achieved a stunning and durable finish that not only protects but transformed the church. The project presented several challenges, including managing diverse transitions and ensuring safety throughout the process. Despite these hurdles, the team delivered exceptional results with Everest HT in three colors, showcasing their ability to overcome obstacles and achieve superior outcomes.
