For years, RoofersCoffeeShop® (RCS) has been asking important and timely questions to the diverse group of industry leaders and experts that we work with through the RCS Influencer program. The goal of this is to create a space where readers not only get tips and advice on handling common industry issues, but where they get to see multiple perspectives and sides of the same question.
These perspectives are based on the different interactions our influencers, who range from contractors and business owners to lawyers and consultants, have with the industry. As the year comes to a close, we want to highlight some of the expert insights that were shared this year!
In this article, Tammy Hall, the director of marketing and service division at CFS Roofing, shares insights in how to create a small company atmosphere within a large company structure. This not only creates a more fun and rewarding environment for employees, but it also increases your business’ productivity!
At the beginning of 2021, RoofersCoffeeShop’s® own Heidi J. Ellsworth shared some key insights into the importance of modern marketing plans. She explained, “A good marketing plan in 2021 will need to address every stage of the sales and marketing process weaving in the use of technology, virtual experiences and digital presence.”
In another article, Mike Pickel (Texas Traditions Roofing), shared all about the importance of finding the right distributor. His main point? Contractors work with distributors day-in and day-out to place orders, pick up materials and more. Having a strong partnership with a distributor is key to finding success and efficiency in this process.
In another article all about marketing, Danny Kerr of Breakthrough Academy explains how finding out what sets your company apart, what unique experience you have to offer to customers, is key to creating an effective marketing plan in 2021.
Closing out our top five is an article from Matrix Home and Roof’s Wendy Marvin about how technology can help you enhance your business’ customer service offerings. She explains, “Trying new technology is no small feat for any company but is essential for growth. New technology allows for the optimization of you and your team. Technology also enhances your customers’ experience.”
