By Johns Manville.
This past June, Johns Manville (JM) sponsored Insulate America as they built six clubhouses for children in the Monterey County area. The children receiving the clubhouses are survivors of diseases and domestic violence. The build at the annual Insulate America Meeting saw over 200 people participating to create fun places where these kids can play and dream.
“JM was proud to participate and sponsor one of the clubhouses at the Insulate America event,” said Greg Clarke, president of Insulation Systems. “Giving back to the community helps define our company as we strive to deliver the JM Experience in all facets of our business.”
Clarke was joined at the event by JM CEO Bob Wamboldt; Vice President and General Manager Building Insulation Tommy Knappich; Director of Sales Building Insulation Chuck McGavern,; and National Accounts Leader Casey Paulson.
Insulate America affiliate contractor companies live and work in the neighborhoods they serve and are actively involved in their business and their neighboring communities. The individual children, and the organizations selected, were recommended after significant consultation with The Pebble Beach Company Foundation and Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services. Insulate America utilized its long-term relationships with the KLH Group and Lowe’s to facilitate all logistics and the building process.
