Kissimmee, Florida – FRSA’s 96th Annual Convention and the Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Expo will take place in Kissimmee, June 27-29, 2018 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center.
FRSA’s Expo is the largest regional roofing show in the industry, with over 220 exhibiting companies displaying the industry’s latest products and services. The Expo (@FRSAExpo, hashtag: #FRSAExpo18) features daily cash prizes, a Silent Auction, and special events in the Lounge and is free to attend for all roofing professionals.
“We are thrilled that exhibit space in our newly expanded expo hall sold out over two months before the event,” said FRSA Executive Director Lisa Pate. “Pre-registration numbers are strong, and we’ve had to increase our room block at the Gaylord Palms Resort. Florida roofers have been exceptionally busy this year and everyone is looking forward to a great event this June.”
Contractors will gather for 17 industry-specific educational programs for a total of 25 hours of continuing education credit. Seminar topics, including OSHA updates, Advanced Florida Building Code 6th Edition, and Energy Code roofing requirements, will bring contractors up to date on the issues that affect their business. Networking events include a highly popular Welcome Reception, a business luncheon, and the S.T.A.R. (Spotlight Trophy for the Advancement of Roofing) Awards and Officer Installation dinner where FRSA member companies will be recognized for unique and challenging roofing projects completed throughout Florida in 2017. Additional events include the Ladies’ Program, the Kids’ Program, and three sporting events – clay shooting, fishing and golf tournaments.
