How Long Does it Take?

About 5 minutes for the average roof. The first few attempts may take a little longer but the learning curve is short. Most people are drawing quickly after practicing on a few sample roofs. RoofSnap integrates directly with Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Nearmap, which means that you can usually find a good clear image to use for sketching the roof. Sometimes, however, in more rural locations, using a drone to capture a high-res image of the roof is ideal. The drone image can be imported into RoofSnap and used for sketching the roof. The drone also creates a wow factor for the customer and can assist in efficiently inspecting the roof. Using imagery that is integrated into RoofSnap is faster but using a drone to capture the image is definitely cooler, even though it takes more time.
