Meet Brandon Davis, December’s Winner of the STINGER CH-38 Cap Hammer

Congrats to Brandon Davis on being selected as the winner of National Nail’s STINGER CH-38 Cap Hammer giveaway!

I had the chance to catch up with Brandon to learn a little more about him and as is the case with all of the RoofersCoffeeShop.com community members I get to meet, Brandon was a pleasure to get to know.

He’s been working in roofing for five years and is currently a senior project manager with Heartland Roofing & Construction, a GAF-certified contractor in the San Antonio, Texas area.  Brandon joined the team at Heartland last fall because he was impressed with the company’s honesty and integrity and that they are willing to give back to the community.

In fact, they are teaming up with the Nine Line Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to meeting the financial and specialized needs of severely injured soldiers and their families, to donate materials and labor toward the current project: to build a completely accessible home for disabled veteran Eric Morante.

Before getting into roofing, Brandon had a satellite installation business that required him to travel throughout the U.S. installing satellite dishes in rural areas. Tired of the amount of travel, he began considering another profession and saw that a few of his friends were doing well working in roofing. He decided to give it a try and hasn’t looked back since. When asked what he likes best about his job, he says that it’s definitely being out in the field, interacting with all kinds of different people and helping solve their problems.

Brandon enjoys RoofersCoffeeShop.com because it’s a place where he can see what is happening in the industry and stay current on new trends and products. He also appreciates the information and photos that the Coffee Shop shares on its social media accounts. When he was looking for different roofing companies to work for, he used the classified section on the site to see who was hiring.

As for the STINGER CH-38 Cap Hammer, he is very much looking forward to breaking out the STINGER CH-38 Cap Hammer and putting it to good use  with his crews as the roofing season is starting to ramp up again in Texas.
