Corné Broodryk is the newest member of Cotney Construction Law, joining the team in 2020. Corné holds a LLB Degree and is admitted to the High Court of South Africa. She has over 13 years of experience working in the construction industry and has focused on a variety of legal areas including construction law, labor law, commercial law, and property law. Her practice experience encompasses dispute resolution through negotiation, claim compilations, adjudication, arbitration, and litigation.
Corné has been a part of many major construction projects across South Africa and has extensive experience with FIDIC and NEC contracts. Before joining Cotney Construction Law, Corné worked as a site administrator, safety admin manager, and contract administrator while she attended school at the University of South Africa earning her LLB Degree. She also received a Certificate in Advanced Construction Contracts at the University of Pretoria, prior to attending the University of South Africa.
Corné has been self-employed and has worked for various law firms including RHK Attorneys, Tubular Holdings, and now Cotney Construction Law. At RHK Attorneys, Corné was a candidate attorney for one year. At Tubular Holdings, Corné worked as a contract administrator for four years and a safety admin manager for two.
