Polyglass Waco hosts fun-filled family and friends day to mark expansion and ADESO® milestones

Polyglass U.S.A., Inc., recently celebrated the completion of its Waco plant expansion alongside the 20th anniversary of ADESO® technology. The event brought together over 200 employees, their families and the local community for a day filled with fun, food and unforgettable memories.

Fun, food and community

The Waco Family & Friends Event was a roaring success. Attendees of all ages enjoyed creative workshops, roofing system exhibits, friendly competitions and plenty of entertainment.

For Polyglass employees, the event also was an opportunity to proudly show off their workplace and share their passion for roofing with loved ones. Employees led their families on tours of the plant, providing a firsthand look at where they work and the innovative products they help create.

From decorating birdhouses with ADESO® products to testing their strength in the Strong Man/Woman Challenge, participants got to learn about Polyglass' innovative roofing solutions while having a blast. Food trucks served delicious Mexican cuisine and sweet treats and a talented Polyglass employee even took the stage with a music performance.

Celebrating a major milestone

The event also marked a significant milestone for Polyglass: the successful completion of the Waco plant expansion. This major project, involving a new production line, a 100,000 square foot warehouse addition and various site improvements, demonstrates Polyglass' commitment to growth and innovation.

Economic impact and community engagement

The expansion has not only strengthened Polyglass' production capabilities but has also had a positive impact on the Waco community. The project created 10 new jobs and retained 65 existing positions, contributing to the local economy. The celebration coincided with another major milestone – the 20th anniversary of Polyglass' revolutionary ADESO® technology. This innovative self-adhering formulation has transformed the roofing industry, offering superior performance and ease of installation.

With a Strong Man/Woman Challenge and roofing system exhibits showcasing the benefits of ADESO®, guests experienced firsthand the technology that has helped Polyglass become a leader in the roofing industry.
