All Weather Insulated Panels (AWIP) is advancing the performance of insulated metal panels with the introduction of InnovaCELL™, a next-generation foam technology engineered to improve thermal efficiency, fire safety and sustainability in building envelopes. 

Designed at the cellular level to meet the evolving demands of commercial and industrial construction, InnovaCELL achieves an R-value of R-8.0 per inch, making it a leading thermally efficient closed-cell insulation core. Compared with traditional polyisocyanurate boards, the technology delivers up to 40 percent greater thermal efficiency, allowing designers to achieve high-performance building envelopes. All Weather Insulated Panels has tested its InnovaCELL panels in accordance with ASTM C1363, providing U-factor data for complete assemblies, including panel joints, to ensure predictable, real-world performance. 

Fire performance is another defining feature of InnovaCELL technology. InnovaCELL is specifically formulated to achieve low smoke generation and limited flame spread under relevant test standards, setting a new benchmark for fire safety in insulated metal panels. InnovaCELL achieves a Class 1 fire rating under FM 4880, offers a one-hour fire performance rating in certain configurations and is designed with a focus on reducing smoke generation during fire exposure. In ASTM E84 testing, smoke-developed index values are up to 73 percent lower than building code requirements. 

Sustainability considerations were integrated into the technology’s development. InnovaCELL foam incorporates recycled material and features lower embodied carbon while maintaining long service life, supporting project teams working to meet both environmental and performance goals.
