RCAW Trade Show is Approaching Quickly!

Join us in Seattle, Washington for the fifth annual RCAW Trade Show.

Roofing Contractors Association of Washington (RCAW) is hosting the 5th annual RCAW Trade Show this month!  Make sure you’re in Seattle, Washington on February 21, 2020 at the DoubleTree Suites Tukwila.  

The show is a one-day event, starting at 10 a.m. and finishing at 4 p.m.  This year there will be more booths and seminars than before. You won’t want to miss spending time with local contractors and other industry professionals exploring exhibits and listening to speakers share their knowledge. 

From 1:30-2:30 p.m., Heidi J. Ellsworth, RoofersCoffeeShop® partner, will be speaking about current trends and demographics in the construction and roofing industry, in addition to diversity in the labor force.  Heidi has 26 years of experience as a regional sales manager for a major roofing manufacturer and a national sales manager for a leading technology company. She also founded National Women in Roofing (NWIR) and Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3), consults for National Roofing Contractors Association and the Roofing Alliance, and runs her own business, HJE Consulting.  

Heidi’s background allows her to bring real life experience and knowledge to her presentations.  At RCAW she will present statistics and research regarding the current make-up of the roofing industry, and the challenges the industry faces with increasing diversity.  She will also share trends and data concerning the growing diversity of roofing customers. The presentation will include diversity and inclusion initiatives current industry organizations are implementing.  Heidi emphasizes the need for a strong and inclusive company culture that can define success for all, especially the next generation of laborers entering the workforce
