RCS is a Finalist for a 2017 Folio: Eddie Award! 

The Eddie Award celebrates editorial excellence in the website and online community category.

We are so excited and honored to be a finalist for a 2017 Folio: Eddie Award in the Website/Online Community category! The team at Roofers Coffee Shop works hard to deliver engaging content, educational information and an online community that gives roofing industry professionals the opportunity to interact with their peers.  

We extend a heartfelt thank you to our tens of thousands of contractors who are a part of the online RCS community and who visit the site regularly. You are the reason we exist. We also must say thank you to our partners who advertise and share their products and services with you – they make all of our great content possible. 

It wouldn’t happen without the great team we have here at the Coffee Shop. Most of you know Vickie the Boss and Heidi who finds and builds relationships with our industry partners. They are truly the face of the Coffee Shop and have played a key role in the success of our community. I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shout out to Sarah, our operations manager, who makes sure the site is there for you every day; to Laurel who helps get our content onto the site; and to Jeannine, who ensures that everything behind the curtain is doing what it is supposed to do.  I couldn’t forget Tim (Heidi’s husband) and Mick (Vickie’s husband) either.  As Tim likes to say, they are the “schleppers and shippers” of RCS but they are so much more than that. They travel to, set up and work all the trade shows and provide much needed support to the team.   

As for me, I was recently named editor of the site but have had the great pleasure of working with this fabulous team for the past year on content as I began the next phase of my career in the roofing industry by starting my consulting business, Casimir Group.  

We are truly honored and humbled as well to be a finalist. We could not have done it without the tremendous support of this wonderful industry that we love so much!
