(Yorba Linda, California, October 31, 2017) - RoofersCoffeeShop.com, the place where the industry meets for technology, information and everyday business, has launched an updated forum on its website featuring a mobile-friendly interface. Active since 2002, the RCS Forum provides a community for roofing contractors to share advice, ask questions and form strong friendships with their industry peers around the world.
“The Forum is truly a brotherhood of roofing contractors,” explained Vickie Sharples, a RoofersCoffeeShop.com partner. “It provides a place for contractors to speak freely in a noncompetitive environment and learn from each other. We’ve been told by some members that they never really started making money until they began sharing information and asking questions on the Forum."
The RCS Forum has been the catalyst behind shared work when one member needed a specialty that another member offered. It has been the force behind mutual friendships as well. “We’ve had members host summer barbecues, inviting other Forum members, who have traveled to attend and finally meet in person,” explained Sharples. “When one of our members in Virginia was having medical concerns, and posted a goodbye message, two other members from Ohio and Pennsylvania reached out and met with him in person before his surgery.”
The re-launch of the Forum was necessary to accommodate the growing shift from computers to mobile phones and tablets. “We are excited that we were able to transfer 15 years’ worth of conversations to this new platform,” said Sharples. “It’s our goal to continue to build on this valuable resource. Our members have a lot to offer each other and we encourage new members to see what it can offer for their businesses.”
Visitors don’t have to be a member to read and view comments but sign up is required to participate in the conversations. Visit the Forum at www.rooferscoffeeshop.com/rcs-forum.
