The organization is the unified voice of the polyiso industry in North America, focusing on issues, research and solutions that help advance the use of polyiso in new and retrofit construction.

PIMA is an association representing manufacturers and suppliers to the Polyiso industry. The association advocates for the advancement of safe, cost-effective and energy-efficient construction. In addition to advocacy, the association provides education and guidance on building codes and technical matters.
