Roofing Corp of America enters kansas city market through Schefers Roofing partnership

RCA expands in the midwest with investment in kansas city’s market leader.

Roofing Corp of America is excited to announce the addition of Kansas City, Missouri based Schefers Roofing to its growing portfolio. This marks RCA’s 16th acquisition since its founding in December 2020. The Schefers partnership extends RCA’s presence in the Midwest and their KCMO location represents Roofing Corp’s 27th branch in the US. Schefers is a full-service commercial roofing contractor specializing in all aspects of commercial roofing including installation, roof restoration, preventative maintenance, leak repair, as well as custom architectural sheet metal fabrication and installation. The company operates throughout Missouri, Northern Arkansas and the surrounding areas.

The business was founded in 1995 by Lance Schefers, who will remain with the company as its chief executive officer. The day-to-day operations at Schefers are and will continue to be handled by president, Doug Mackesty and senior superintendent James Napper. Lance, Doug and James have built an extraordinary business that will continue to operate as a stand-alone entity within Roofing Corp of America.
