ROOFPAC, NRCA's political action committee, will host several exciting events during NRCA's 131st Annual Convention and the 2018 International Roofing Expo® (IRE) in New Orleans. ROOFPAC, the voice of the roofing industry in Washington, D.C., is dedicated to advancing NRCA's government relations agenda on Capitol Hill. NRCA members are encouraged to show their support for ROOFPAC by participating in the following events.
On Monday, Feb. 5, ROOFPAC will host its annual golf tournament, with Denver-based Johns Manville as the Grand Patron sponsor, at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, just outside New Orleans. The tournament will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start, and participants will receive lunch and enjoy a post-tournament scoring reception. Transportation to and from the Hilton New Orleans Riverside will be provided free of charge.
Also on Monday, Feb. 5, ROOFPAC will host a sporting clays tournament sponsored by Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based Polyglass U.S.A. Inc. at High Point Shooting Grounds in Belle Chasse, La. Registration for the tournament starts at 9:45 a.m., and there will be a prize presentation and fish fry lunch at High Point. Transportation to and from the Hilton New Orleans Riverside will be provided free of charge.
On Tuesday, Feb. 6, and Wednesday, Feb. 7, ROOFPAC will host its Silent Auction at IRE, with GAF, Parsippany, N.J., as the Platinum sponsor. Stop by NRCA's booth (No. 1933) and put in your bid on vacations, jewelry and other unique items. All participants will receive complimentary drinks at the open bar from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Feb. 7, ROOFPAC Party on the Mighty Mississippi, sponsored by Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply Co. Inc., will be held from 7-10 p.m. at Pat O's on the River. Join your roofing industry colleagues for an evening of fun, food and drinks as you experience magnificent views of the legendary Mississippi River.
