This new gutter from MTL Holdings completes their Seal-Tite Gutter Family. It is available through both Metal-Era and Hickman Edge Systems, providing contractors with reliable access to this innovative product. With its unique design and comprehensive benefits, the XL Gutter is set to expedite project timelines and enhance overall efficiency with unmatched drainage performance.
Key features The XL Gutter System combines efficiency with versatility. Here are a few key features:
These features are backed up by thorough design and reliable engineering. The gutter measures up with a 9-to-14-inch span and includes a robust 2-inch-wide, heavy-gauge aluminum z-bracket and a lower mounting hanger. These not only ensure exceptional security against wind uplift, but also eliminate the need for external brackets and wind straps.
Further, this gutter was rigorously tested to meet the ANSI/SPRI GT-1 standard for gutter systems used with low-slope roofs. Eric Younkin, VP of product & engineered services at MTL Holdings, commented, “When developing the XL Gutter, we didn’t want to bring just a larger solution with the same, traditional design to the market. We had three key objectives: to meet testing, to improve contractor productivity, and to get people off the edge faster.” They achieved this with the XL Gutter, which in addition to being the largest GT-1 tested solution on the market, has a 30-year, 160 MPH high wind warranty.
Gerardo Flores, a project manager at Empire Roofing, highlighted the practical benefits of the XL Gutter in the field. “Using the XL Gutter, we’ll get at least 50-60% more productivity,” he stated, again, emphasizing the product’s potential to transform roofing projects.
