Stormseal, the game-changing storm response solution that provides powerful protection to homes and buildings until permanent repairs can be made, announced that its new training center in Mulberry, Florida is open to train contractors on becoming certified to install the system.
“With hurricane season officially beginning on June 1, we want to remind contractors that now is the time to get their crews trained on how to install the system,” said Matthew Lenox, CEO of Stormseal. “We’ve partnered with Safety Solutions & Supply in Mulberry, Florida to be able to continue offering training to certify contractors as installers.”
The large training facility has ample space to allow for trainings to be conducted under the social distancing guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). “Training sessions are being conducted with strict adherence to the CDC guidelines and the facility has implemented procedures to sanitize and provide the safest environment possible for the trainees in attendance,” explained Lennox.
Contractors who complete the training and purchase the starter Stormseal kit have the option of having the film customized with their company logo and can also choose a custom color. It is recommended that contractors place their orders early so their custom film is ready for use when the storms hit.
Property owners are encouraged to visit the Stormseal website to locate a Stormseal-certified contractor in their area who can apply the industry’s best post-storm temporary protection to their homes. The proven, cost-effective solution provides months of protection from the elements, unlike tarps that can blow off and lead to further property damage.

About Stormseal
Stormseal is a strong polyethylene film that heat-shrinks to cover a damaged structure and stays put until permanent repairs are made. When Stormseal is installed on a damaged roof or wall, the application of heat shrinks the film, enhancing its strength and ensuring a perfect fit to the structure, without damaging any underlying materials.
