Texas Traditions Roofing, a family owned, residential and commercial roofing company serving Central Texas, announced that the company’s rapid growth has led to the need for a promotion and the hiring of additional team members.
Michael Pickel was promoted from Estimator to Director of Residential where he will oversee all aspects of the company’s residential roofing division, including sales, operations and production. “As the business has been experiencing exponential growth, we knew we needed more resources in place to continue to deliver the quality service for which we are known,” explained Mike Pickel, co-founder of Texas Traditions Roofing. “By promoting Michael to run the residential division, we are enabling him to focus solely on ensuring a top-notch customer experience is delivered for every job, whether a repair or replacement.”
Kate Strahan was recently hired to fill the role of Commercial Estimator. In this position she focuses on the commercial side of the business, performing takeoffs, assessing job sites and serves as liaison to general contractors. She is also tasked with developing the commercial repair and maintenance division for the company. “Kate is a great addition to the team and will play a key role in the expansion of our commercial business,” Pickel stated.
Prior to joining the Texas Traditions team, Strahan performed takeoffs for a construction company that dealt with wood blocking. She currently resides in Georgetown with her husband, their twin son and daughter and they are expecting their third child in the fall.
Texas Traditions Roofing began as a shared calling by the founding owners to work in their local community while giving back at the same time. The company specializes in residential and commercial roofing in the Central Texas region. They believe in doing business based on strong, traditional Texas values and work hard to establish A Tradition of Trust for customers and the community.
