The countdown to the 2024 International Roofing Expo is on! Whether this is your first time attending or you are a seasoned attendee, don’t miss these great events. 

You’ve heard tradeshows are a great place to network with industry professionals, gain recognition and grow your business. You’ve also heard that the International Roofing Expo (IRE) is the largest roofing event in North America, and the place to meet suppliers, discover new products, improve your marketing and build relationships. Great! So now that you’re registered, and you’ve made the necessary travel arrangements, how do you make the most of your time? The best way to connect with fellow roofers is by attending the major events they offer!  

Here are some you won’t want to miss: 

1 – NRCA ROOFPAC event, February 5, 2024, 4:30 p.m. 

• Join the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) for a Las Vegas soiree with this fundraising reception to support ROOFPAC, the only political action committee dedicated to advancing the roofing industry in Washington, D.C. There will be cocktails, amazing food and a live auction where you can bid on artwork, trips and more! 

2 – Keynote session by Zack Kass, February 6, 2024, 9:30 a.m. 

• Sponsored by Malarkey Roofing Products, join Zack Kass as he prepares you for the technological revolution that is currently reshaping our industry. An expert in practical applications for artificial intelligence (AI), Zack has successfully translated AI research into tangible business solutions at OpenAI.  

3 – First time attendees' reception, February 6, 2024, 5:30 p.m. 

• This reception is just for you, and it’s sponsored by us here at RoofersCoffeeShop®! It’s free for anyone who is new to IRE and will take place at the Las Vegas Beer Park this year. It’s a great way to network and make new friends, and it conveniently leads into the Welcome Party for an entire evening of engaging with industry professionals.

• KARNAK is celebrating their 90th anniversary at IRE this year! Join them at Ghost Bar to celebrate their long-standing success in the industry. 

5 – Roofing Alliance Construction Management Student Competition, February 7, 2024, 8:00 a.m. 

• For the tenth year, the Roofing Alliance is hosting its Construction Management Student Competition. This competition promotes careers in the roofing industry by challenging students’ knowledge, project management skills, presentation skills and organization. The project for this year is the Formula 1 Paddock Building in Las Vegas, Nevada. Listen to the five finalist teams give their oral presentations and see who will win during the NRCA awards ceremony. 

6 – NRCA Awards Ceremony and Cocktail Reception, February 7, 2024, 5:00 p.m. 

• Not only will you hear the winners of the student competition, but this is a chance to gather to formally recognize the industry’s most prestigious award winners. Catch up with new and old friends while enjoying complimentary appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks. 

7 – SRS Raise the Roof Foundation charity concert, February 7, 2024, 6:00 p.m. 

• You won’t want to miss this incredible event! Food and drink will be provided, and the musical lineup is impressive. Join SRS Distribution for a fundraising concert at House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada, with musical guests Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dierks Bentley and Tenille Townes. All proceeds will go to the SRS Raise the Roof Foundation which supports veterans, disaster relief and families in crisis.
