What better way to start the holiday season than attending a gala and making a difference in a child’s life? The Roofing Contractors Association of Washington (RCAW) thought it was a great idea, which is why they have made a small, yet significant, change to their RCAW Annual Holiday Gala. This year RCAW will donate a portion of all the money collected to Toys for Tots.
On Friday, December 6, join your roofing friends and family to celebrate the season, raise money, and donate gifts to Toys for Tots. You won’t want to miss out on this event taking place at the Seattle Bellevue Marriott in Bellevue, Washington. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., which is also the start of cocktail hour. There will be a silent auction, photo booth, a casino night with prizes, and of course a DJ and dancing. Tickets are available on the RCAW website.
Enjoy a plated dinner and select one of the three delicious entrees: pan-seared steelhead, grilled petit fillet, eggplant rollatini, or a vegan option upon request. They’re all served with a variety of side dishes including vegetable risotto, roasted garlic polenta, parsnip and potato puree, and more. Contact Tracy Prociw by calling 253-561-9002 or emailing tracey@rcaw.com to register your entree choice.
This year RCAW is asking attendees to bring an unwrapped toy that will then be donated to Toys for Tots. These toys will go to children ages 2-12. Additionally, their new tradition is to donate a portion of all the money that is raised through sponsorships, dinner, and the silent auction to Toys for Tots. The toys and a check will be presented to Toys for Tots on Tuesday, December 10.
Ring in the holiday season with other spirited and generous people from the roofing industry. And this year, help make a child’s wish come true during the holiday season.
