Now, Sika is shaking up the industry with a revolutionary expansion — introducing Sikalastic 701SF, Sikalastic 702 and Sikalastic 702 THX, a new line of two-component, cold-applied resins engineered for long-lasting protection in demanding applications such as cooling towers, chemical containment areas, direct-to-substrate projects and recover applications. These cutting-edge solutions are redefining what professionals can expect from liquid-applied membranes. With quick-curing, self-smoothing technology and ultra-low VOC emissions, Sika’s latest innovations prove that high-performance roofing and waterproofing can also be sustainable.

Sikalastic®-701 SF - is a 2-component, cold applied, high performance, self-smoothing, low odor, polyaspartic top coat for Sika Liquid Applied Membrane roofing/waterproofing systems. It is used over a reinforced or unreinforced Sikalastic 702 base. This new 2-component top coat contains 100 % solids and the VOC content is ~3.86 g/l; this is well below the industry VOC compliance.   

Sikalastic®-702 and Sikalastic®-702 THX are 2-component, cold applied, self-smoothing, elastic, polyurea hybrid liquid roofing/waterproofing membranes, reinforced or unreinforced systems. These products are used as a base for Sikalastic 701 SF top coat. The 702 is a paintable consistency and used on horizontal surfaces and the 702 THX (thixotropic) is a flash grade resin for vertical surfaces.  

The alluring attributes of these products are their quick curing, self-smoothing properties, little to no odor, extremely low VOC’s and their chemical resistant, hard, tough, high gloss, yet flexible cured finishes.
