Katie began her career at Armored Roofing in 2011 and has grown with the company through every level of its operations. After serving as office manager and later becoming a managing partner in 2022, she assumed the role of president and majority owner in January 2024—becoming the first woman to lead the company in its 70-year history. 

A committed industry leader and advocate, Katie currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT) and is an active member of National Women in Roofing (NWiR). Under her leadership, Armored Roofing maintains membership in the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA) and the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA). 

Driven by a passion for education, innovation and mentorship, Katie focuses on modernizing operations while preserving the values that define long-term success in the roofing industry. Beyond the jobsite, she is deeply involved in her community—volunteering with local booster clubs, supporting the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation and serving on the leadership team for Night to Shine, an annual event dedicated to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a roofing influencer, Katie brings authenticity, experience and a people-first perspective to help elevate the industry and those it serves.
