Coatings

We manufacture a market leading range of polyurethane based coatings. They are used in a large array of applications, including polyurethanes for stonebinders (both UV and non UV resistant grades), anti-skid coatings for roads, bridges and marine, polyurethanes for industrial flooring and decorative applications. Furthermore we are continually developing our coatings to meet the requirements of our customers.

Building construction/fabric

High performance polyurethane products provide a versatile, durable and cost effective alternative to traditional building materials like wood and brick.

Traditional building materials do not offer the cost, time and energy savings the construction industry and end user requires. Instead high-performance materials that are strong, yet lightweight; perform well, yet are easily installed; and that are durable but also versatile are needed.

Polyurethane products do all of the above as well as being reliable and consistent, making them an ideal choice for the built environment. For example, the insulating properties of polyurethane rigid foam not only reduces energy loss but also noise levels, allowing building fabric manufacturers to make building panels thinner resulting in reduced construction costs and lower energy bills for the occupier.

Insulation

Building panels, portable buildings, caravans, doors and more, all benefit from good insulation. Polyurethane foams have excellent thermal properties and polyurethane adhesives have excellent adhesion and durability.

Energy use in homes and businesses not only produces large amounts of CO2 emissions but also costs the homeowner and companies significant amounts of money to ensure that buildings are heated sufficiently. Energy loss is a major contributing factor, which is why the UK Government have invested heavily in energy saving schemes including encouraging the use of insulating materials.
