Colorado Fires

We've had a fire burning across the valley, aprx 7-8 miles away now, for an hour.....Still no response.....Just guessing; Watched it grow from 10-20 acres to 50+ now...Thank God the winds' been blow'n back on it!

I left Ft Collins last Thursday. Hunkered down here in Colo Springs off Cresta. Had a Unit off Exit 161 Lewis High-school. Just moved that one over here.

346 homes in Colorado Springs....A couple hundred up by Ft. Collins....A few years ago, (the "Hayman" fire, as it's called), we had pre-vac status at our home, just north of the AF Acadamy....Had the guys move our toys/valuables out, as we were in Wis. at a race.

Tom, The Lovely Mrs Ciak and I have been out here working these fires since the 10th. It looks like we will be out here for at least another 10 days +. I have heard some pretty horrifying stories from people who have been burned out and affected by these wild fires. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day

I don't know of any of the fires that are "related", other than they're all wildfires.????? :S

After a couple hours of radio discussion and fly-overs, (small plane & chopper), they finally got a tanker up there and got it under control....Whew!

Is it unrelated to the rest of the fires?
