Got to thinking about this when I read this post over the weekend:

You guys really do deserve hazard pay!
I have so many dog stories. In none of the stories, did I hurt the dogs.
Hah, great visuals.
We had an employee once that was a dog magnet. His eyes would just go wide when he seen a dog. Nice dogs were mean to him sometimes. We all felt safer...
I still enjoy remembering that look.
These days, I meet with each and every home owner so it's not a problem anymore, however in the past I have had some close calls.
Before going inside a fence, I would always whistle and kick on the fence first. A FEW TIMES.
But, I had to go measure a roof out in the country once upon a time that had no fence and the house was isolated in the woods. I got out of my truck and whistled several times with no response so I got out and proceeded to the door. Just before I reached the porch a big Chow woke up from underneath it and came at me like he was ready to kill. I just ran as fast as I could go back toward the truck and narrowly slipped inside before the dog caught up. Scared the holy crap out of me.
They did not receive an estimate that day. lol
