Coffee Conversations - NCCER Apprenticeship Training

Coffee Conversations - NCCER Apprenticeship Training - POD

S3:E20

With the roofing industry projected to grow 12% — much higher than the national average of 5% — the opportunities available in roofing are increasing, as are the training needs.  This Coffee Conversations will focus on the growing need for apprenticeships and what the industry is doing to meet that need.  Leading roofing professionals will talk about how the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), Associated Building Contractors (ABC) and local roofing professionals are working jointly with the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) to establish a workforce development solution for the roofing industry. The new NRCA/NCCER apprenticeship program has made huge strides and so has a unique, new roofing school in Arizona led by Henry Staggs, an NCCER Craft Instructor.
