Luciano Perez - IRE Focuses on Latino Culture

Heidi J. Ellsworth visits with Luciano Perez, Safety Manager for KPost Roofing and Waterproofing out of Dallas, Texas about the important International Roofing Expo (IRE) class focused on the Latino culture in roofing.  Luciano will be moderating a panel during the IRE educational classes on how to better incorporate and empower the Hispanic culture in every roofing company.  The educational class named, “Challenges and Opportunities when dealing with Safety and the Latino Workforce: Are you a Good Safety Leader?” will Identify challenges and opportunities when dealing with safety and the Latino Workforce, communicate better with our Latino coworkers, differentiate the roll of leader vs. manager and help the audience look at the big picture in Latino culture.  Heidi and Luciano will talk about the panel that has been assembled along with what needs to happen to grow professionalism and inclusiveness in roofing.
