Located in Tarpon Springs, Florida is a company called Arry’s Roofing Services, Inc. Arry’s was originally started and still managed by Arry and Becky Housh. Their mission is simple, “Total dedication to providing the finest roofing services and materials to every customer they have the privilege of serving.” Fast forward to today and it has truly become a family business with Stephen and Matthew Housh joining the management team. But even with 25 years of experience in the industry, tens of thousands of customers served and an established presence as one of the well-known roofers in the Tampa area, Arry’s realized they were still spending 90% of their marketing budget on acquiring new business and customers. That all changed when they started working with gFour Marketing. With gFour’s help, Arry’s was able to automate their marketing business and secure more of their work from repeat and referral customers.
How did they do this? Arry’s began leveraging a combination of gFour’s premium and deluxe programs. This sent their existing customers things like a thank you card (with a gift card); information about the referral rewards and appreciation program; personalized emails; and a copy of Happy Home Gazette to show Arry’s appreciation of them.
By placing investing in their existing customers through these methods, Arry’s went from 7% of repeat and referral business to 70%! That’s over $11,000,0000 in revenue from those repeat and referral customers! And on top of all of that, this helped them see consistent business growth of 10% each year. As Matthew Housh put it, “You need a solid appreciation and referral program to stay in constant communication with your customers. Look at this as an investment — it all costs money — but in the long run, if you stick with it, you’ll reap the dividends in the years to come.”
