You won’t want to miss out on this year’s METALCON tradeshow and the fantastic educational sessions taking place at the event! METALCON will feature incredible and inspirational educational sessions and events, as well as provide attendees with the opportunity to meet some fantastic exhibitors on the convention floor.
Attendees need to check out the free learning session about architectural metal coatings, “FUSE: Color Trends for the Future of Architectural Building Products” taking place on October 19 at 2:30 p.m.
FUSE was developed by the color experts at Sherwin-Williams to study and learn from the impact that color trends have on society and how societal catalysts also affect color. Utilizing real-world data, the FUSE report consists of three main color pathways: Accountability-Centered Technology (ACT), Building Fulfilling Futures (BFF) and Chief Empathy Officer (CEO). Attendees will learn about the inspiration behind these color palettes and how to utilize them in their upcoming projects.
This session, hosted by Sherwin-Williams color experts Kiki Redhead and Brynn Wildenauer, will teach attendees how to understand macro trends, color evolution, the effects of color in building products and how these things relate to architecture and manufacturing.
Attendees can utilize the knowledge they gain from this session to improve their knowledge of the impact color has on our environment and the way we interact with architecture as well as one another. This session is free and on a first come, first serve basis and can also be counted as one AIA learning unit for continuing education programs.
