Everything is Bigger in Texas, Including This Roofing Conference

The 2023 Texas Roofing Conference will be here before you know it. Here’s what to look forward to at this year’s expo. 

The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT) is gearing up for this year’s Texas Roofing Conference on October 4-6 in Houston, Texas. With exhibitor space completely sold out, this year’s show is expected to be their biggest one yet. The conference will be held at the Marriott Marquis Houston and be sure to stop by our booth #120 to say hello to our RoofersCoffeeShop® crew! 

Registration for the show is still open, so get your tickets now! Full registration includes access to the welcome reception, expo floor, entry to all seminars and educational sessions, door prizes, tickets to the annual business meeting and more. If you’d like to just attend the expo floor with exhibitors, these passes will be available on September 15, or you can purchase them at the show. 

One speaking session you don’t want to miss is “How Podcasts Can Boost Your Business” with the Coffee Shops President Heidi J. Ellsworth and Multimedia Manager Megan Ellsworth. Join us as we share with you how to harness the power of podcasts through this interactive workshop. Heidi and Megan will show you how to create your podcast brand, distribute your podcast, find the best recording software and more. The session will take place on Friday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m. 

There are a few other educational sessions you should check out while there. On Thursday, October 5 at 8:30 a.m., join Charlie Smith from McElroy Metal to learn “Six New Things You Need to Know About If You Do Commercial Metal Roofing.” This session will highlight the exciting developments in metal roofing for commercial buildings.  

And on Friday, October 6, join Michael Polizzi from A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply for his session "Metal Deck 101: Metal Deck Replacement." This session will cover replacing metal decks on commercial re-roof projects, including how to identify, match, quote and install them.
