When it comes to roofing, it’s all in the details. That’s why EXCEPTIONAL® Metals strives to craft quality materials for the details of a roof, like their comprehensive line of edge metal and drainage products. Their PVC-Coated Metal line allows contractors to create a more durable and watertight roofing system while also allowing customers to customize roof aesthetics.
EXCEPTIONAL Metals offers two types of PVC-coated edges:
EXCEPTIONAL Metals’ PVC-Coated Drip Edge is a perfect edge termination for PVC single-ply membrane installations. Manufactured with stainless steel, aluminum or Galvalume® and an attached membrane skirt, this detail is designed to easily weld to the installed roof membrane, allowing for maximum water flow from the roof deck.
Available in white, light tan, tan, light gray, gray, dark gray, charcoal and midnight bronze, PVC Coated Drip Edge can also be custom-fabricated to various roof pitches and mansards up to a face size of 8 inches.
EXCEPTIONAL Metals’ Arched PVC-Coated Drip Edge is an ideal solution for roofs with arched perimeters and arched-to-flat transitions. Manufactured with stainless steel, bonderized steel or Galvalume® and an attached membrane skirt, this edge detail is pre-notched for overlapped joints and also features a hemmed drip kick that helps receive splice cleats. Much like EXCEPTIONAL Metals’ standard drip edges, the arched drip edge can also be customized. The metal face is available in several colors and can be custom-fabricated in 5’ to 10’ lengths. Additionally, Arched PVC-Coated Drip Edge is LEED® compliant, making it a perfect choice for your environmentally conscious customers.
