Meet the United Asphalts’ Swiss Army Knife

Sales and Marketing Manager Josh Wiley is a Jack-of-all-trades for United Asphalts and a true leader.  

Every month, United Asphalts (UA) is highlighting one stand-out employee who is taking our standards to new heights and furthering our excellent reputation. This month’s highlight is Sales and Marketing Manager Josh Wiley. Josh hit the ground running when he joined our company in April 2019, and quickly proved to be an incredible asset for our corporate office in Colorado. 

Josh is something of a Swiss Army Knife for UA, utilizing his diverse skillset in several important areas. On the sales side, Josh serves as our inside sales contact supporting our nationwide network of sales reps and as our international sales coordinator. On the marketing side, Josh maintains our website, creates our marketing materials, and helps us craft the United Asphalts Brand.  

A native and lifelong resident of Colorado, Josh is a veteran of the fly-fishing industry having worked as a fishing guide, a sales rep and in e-commerce. This must be where Josh developed his calm demeanor no matter the situation — something every office appreciates. Not surprisingly, Josh loves the outdoors, is an avid fly-fisherman and hiker, and he aspires to someday become a top-notch nature photographer.   

"The thing that amazes me the most about United Asphalts is the number of multi-decade employees I am able to work with. It really illustrates the family like atmosphere and loyalty that exists here," Josh said. As a father of two himself, Josh demonstrates his appreciation of family not only at home but also to his United Asphalts family. We are proud to have Josh on our team!
