New Polyiso Plant Opening to Better Serve Customers

RoofersCoffeeShop® sat down with Southeast regional manager for Hunter Panels Justin Andrews to talk about their Polyiso panels.  

Hunter Panels manufactures thermal efficient Polyiso insulation for roof and wall applications. “We have two distinct business channels that we operate in. We have our distribution business that is our Hunter label,” says Justin. “And then we have a private label OEM side of our business, where we manufacture Polyiso insulation for other membrane manufacturers that don't have ISO plants.” 

Chances are, if you are putting Polyiso down, it very well might be manufactured by Hunter. In response to the demand for Polyiso, the continued popularity and rise in insulation usage due to building code requirements, Hunter Panels is opening a new plant. “We'll be opening up a plant in Sikeston, Missouri. Should be operational in Q2 of next year,” says Justin. “And we're excited about that. It should help take some load off of the other plants and free them up to increased capacity in their zones. And we're very much looking forward to that.” 

The new facility represents the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering world-class customer experience. It is strategically located to better serve the central U.S. and will result in improved service for Hunter Panels customers throughout their network of Polyiso plants. “We do everything from ISO 101. We talk about what it is and should you eat it? No,” says Justin. “So everything from a really basic introduction to what Polyiso does on the roof to our tapered and technical resources, getting way into the weeds with specifications and different NOAs and Miami Dade roof codes and approvals and anything that we can come up with, we will help you guys out.”
