NRCA and Beacon Exit Planning to hold exit planning seminar

The event will start with a reception Wednesday evening followed by learning and discussion on Thursday and Friday and optional 30-minute coaching sessions Saturday. 

The National Roofing Contractors Association invites business owners to register for its two-day seminar — Understanding Your Exit Options Seminar — that will dive into the complicated exit planning and succession process. Hosted by Kevin Kennedy, founder and CEO of Beacon Exit Planning, and Joseph Bazzano, co-owner and chief operating officer of Beacon Exit Planning, the seminar will be held December 12-13 in Phoenix.

The event will start with a cocktail reception Wednesday evening followed by two days of learning and discussion Thursday and Friday, as well as optional 30-minute coaching sessions Saturday.

Participants will leave the workshop knowing:

• How to navigate critical landmines that can destroy an exit plan
• Owner exit options, valuation, tax mitigation and compromises
• How to prepare an owner and a company for the sale/transfer
• Company and personal asset protection and tax mitigation strategies
• Ways to reduce and eliminate taxes with internal and external sales
