In response to learning that roofing professionals want to consume content how they want and when they want, RoofersCoffeeShop® (RCS) l developed RLW, which stands for Read, Listen, Watch. Now, contractors can read a transcript or e-book before bed, listen to a podcast on their way to work, or watch a webinar while enjoying their morning coffee.
Join in on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. PDT for the “watch” portion of the RLW with Cotney Consulting Group. During the webinar, John Kenney, Chief Operating Officer and Technical Director for Cotney Consulting Group, will speak with Heidi J. Ellsworth, RCS partner, about Adopting Technology That Makes Sense for Roofing.
John Kenney’s entire career has been in roofing. Starting as a roofing apprentice for a family business in the Northeast, he has spent the past 45 years managing successful projects, working as a foreman, estimator, chief estimator, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the various companies where he has worked. Known for his excellence in roofing operations, Kenney brings knowledge and experience to help contractors incorporate the right technology and software, like Smartsheets, artificial intelligence and a deep understanding of other technologies that work.
During the webinar, John will discuss the current state of technology in roofing. The roofing industry is known to be a slow adopter when it comes to technology, but that has recently changed due to the demand for technology use during the coronavirus pandemic. While a lot of roofing business is typically conducted in person, contractors and companies have had to adapt to virtual meetings and inspections and digital documents.
One technology that makes sense and is a newer addition to the Cotney Consulting Group offerings is Smartsheet. This program allows for cloud-based collaboration and makes it easier to track crucial data such as KPIs, cashflow, scheduling, budgeting and more.
John will share the benefits of using predictive analysis (AI) in business and provide a process for evaluating technologies used in your company. Also during the webinar, John will answer what technology is important for marketing, sales, operations, and warranties and customer retention.
As the leader of Cotney Consulting Group, John will talk about technology and common-sense business solutions to help contractors be successful. Now more than ever, roofing contractors need information that makes sense and the right technology and software in their roofing business to succeed in the post-COVID business environment.
