Our most popular podcasts celebrate innovation and technology, various conferences carrying on virtually this year, and staying on the front line of roofing during COVID-19.   

The most-listened-to podcast episode by far featured Dan Tinker, CEO of SRS, discussing their promotion to help frontline COVID heroes. The episode featured a talk about the SRS Raise the Roof Foundation and how the SRS family of companies serves local communities by giving back through disaster-relief support and philanthropic fundraisers. Dan stressed the importance of giving back to the community and the industry. 

Speaking of giving back, another popular episode was Tim Hart and Dan Ervin's conversation about helping manufacture personal protective equipment (PPE) products during the COVID-19 outbreak. Last spring, Duro-Last quickly focused a share of their manufacturing capability on starting producing (PPE) for healthcare workers on the frontline.  

It wasn't all about COVID responses; quite a few top podcast episodes people listened to were about exciting innovations and out-of-the-box thinking. Charlie Smith, national recover manager/238T business development at McElroy Metal, spoke on his passion for expanding the use of metal roofing in non-conventional methods. And Chris Cooper, Southern Indiana foreman for Tremco Roofing, and Ashley Cooper, Tremco Knovi Product manager, talked about the recent installation of 29 Knovi Monitoring SmartDrains revolutionizing low-slope roofing by providing 24/7 monitoring of rooftops for excess water caused by clogged drains.
