‘Tis the season for giving!

Give back to charitable causes in the roofing industry this holiday season and have your donations matched by Trent Cotney! 

In a recent episode of Roofing Road Trips®, host Heidi J. Ellsworth sat down with Trent Cotney of Adams and Reese to discuss his annual tradition of matching charitable donations made to various industry organizations dedicated to boosting the industry and providing scholarships. As we approach the season of giving, Trent hopes to encourage associations to consider making a charitable donation this holiday season to a worthy cause, and he will match up to $2,500 for each association, up to $10,000 in total.  

Trent shared that giving back to the industry is important to him. “I've always been a big believer that you should give back. Part of my philosophy is I owe everything as far as my success to the industry. I think it's really important that we give back not just for present needs, but for the future,” he explained. “Most of these associations have a scholarship element where they're getting students out there into hopefully the industry, a lot of great philanthropic charity type roofs, all kinds of different things that they're doing. But I really think it's important to support the industry that supports us, right?” 

Trent will be extending the time frame until the end of the year, allowing those wishing to donate ample time to decide which cause to donate to. In the end, he plans to match those donations and leave a positive impact on the industry, as he said, “This is something that is near and dear to my heart. When I leave this earth and my son takes over for me or does whatever, I want to be able to look back and see some of the good that I've done.”
